Securing Junior Literacy Skills for Year 0-3 & Priority Learners Day Course 9am—3pm

This day will focus on our junior learners securing literacy skills. We will take a look at a variety of aspects related to building literacy in years 1-3 or for priority learners and those with special literacy needs.

This workshop will cover…
-building blocks for learning how words work.
-foundations skills for literacy,
-fine motor skills,
-metacognition and processing for early literacy.

7 Keys to Learning—Dinner Meeting

This dinner meeting will cover;
Barbara presents 7 keys to learning with lots of practical suggestions to assist students at all levels, including those with specific learning challenges.
So what are these keys?  They are the keys to the way the brain processes information.  They are not teaching tricks or training programmes; they are keys on which we should base all our teaching to ensure that the student’s brain is able to receive, retain and retrieve information in order to make sense of their learning.
