Kia ora e hoa ma, 2020 was a very different year for MLA; indeed for all of us! I had the pleasure of once again being the President, and working alongside an amazing team of motivated educators; albeit via many a Zoom meeting (affectionately termed ‘Zui’).

We are thrilled to announce that one of our very own Palmerston North teams, have won the NZ Title at the National Kids' Lit Quiz Champs. They are now off to compete in the Worlds in Singapore next month.

Hosting conference this year is our main priority. October 2018 will bring an exciting opportunity for all associated with the teaching profession to be inspired , challenged and informed.
