Kia ora e hoa ma, 2019 was another busy year for MLA. I had the pleasure of once again being the President, and working alongside an amazing team of motivated educators; keen to make a difference in our schools through Literacy.
2019-2020 President Report presented at Waikato's AGM in March by Sandie Haddock. Sandie is now acting as Past President.
On Saturday 14th of March committee members from Tai Tokerau, Auckland, Waiariki, Tauranga and Waikato Literacy Councils came together at Papatoetoe West School in Auckland to discuss a range of topics. The workshop was facilitated by members of our NZLA (New Zealand Literacy Association) executive committee.
